This year's 4th annual GRandJazzFest presented by DTE Energy Foundation is once again featuring two solid days of free performances from names ranging from the familiar to the yet-to-be-discovered.
If you are looking for the best bet, then clearly the musician line-up for Saturday night's 8 p.m. slot, with Paul Brown & Nate Harasim (“The Producers”) with special guest Deon Yates and San Antonio, Texas-based emerging artist Melina, is a great choice. And bass master Michael Manson, one of the event's biggest names who won over the locals last year, is back again with his high-energy band that is sure to set the stage on fire.
One of the big changes this year includes the addition of a Family Guitar Tent, where musicians and would-be ones can try out guitars of all sizes. This is made possible by performer Bryan Lubeck who is also providing the opportunity for two guitars to be given away this weekend at a special GRandJazzFest drawing.
