A few months ago, Rapid Growth hosted a local writers round table meet-up at Linc in the Madison Square neighborhood and one of our surprise discoveries learning more about the work of Linda Otterbridge, founder of Hook a Sista Up (HASU).
What makes HASU stand out in their mentoring program is a pay it forward" philosophy within the platform Otterbridge has created. She believes we need to be able to work together – and that means being there for a community that is rapidly expanding.
Building on HASU's work to support, guide, and mentor new women entrepreneurs via a shared network of resources is a new event created to showcase the work of women authors. The Women Who Write Author Showcase one-day event is aimed at those seeking to meet the authors plus engage with book clubs members, other writers, publishers and anyone who enjoys reading.
