11th Annual Harvest Party: Fall Festival is Full Fresh Flavor

Saturday, Oct. 11, 11 a.m. doors open
As we learned last year, the fall is probably the one time of the year that Joey Basch, entertainment coordinator at Founders Brewing Company, has a little more spring in his step.

Why exactly is he so lithe in autumn? Simply put, Basch truly enjoys our local celebration of the American hop harvest, and Founders has once again created a unique event brewed up around the first new brew of the season, the Harvest Ale.

The Harvest Ale is a wet-hopped ale and is the hoppiest of all the beers on tap at their spacious taproom. Even the deli gets in on the fun, offering their famed Dirty Bastard bratwurst!

With each paid admission you get a commemorative, limited edition Harvest Party pint glass (while supplies last) and a complimentary fill of Harvest Ale or any class one beer. (I would suggest getting the Harvest Ale!)

Live music is included with each paid admission and includes performances by Whiskey Shivers (Austin, TX), The Hooten Hallers (Columbia, MO), The Carboys (Grand Rapids, MI), and Angela Sheik (Wilmington, DE).

Admission: $8 for 2014 Mug Clubbers, $10 for general public
