There's a new creative marketing firm in town

Look in any kitchen drawer or closet in your house and you will likely find some promotional merchandise that you picked up at work or at an event.  These items have become so ubiquitous that it is easy to wonder why firms still bother to invest in this merchandise.

The remarkable ordinariness is the big opportunity that Creative Studio Promotions hopes to capitalize on by focusing on unique, creative and custom solutions for a firm's marketing and branding needs.

Ann Vidro and Menda Wright are the founders of Creative Studio Promotions, a full-service marketing, branding and fulfillment firm. "We are five weeks old. We have over 30 years of experience in the business, and everything we do is about managing the brand, including building e-commerce stores, managing inventories and fulfilling orders."

According to Vidro, the firm has a staff of 50 that includes a combination of full- and part-time employees, production staff and contractors.

Vidro explains that the genesis of their business came from working in the promotional industry, where she felt there was a lack of creativity. "We wanted to be more creative and edgy versus the traditional offerings. We are unique."

Vidro cites their ability to manufacture custom items for firms, a commitment to eco-friendly products and their e-commerce expertise as examples of their competitive edge. "Our goal is to be a premier player on a national level. In our previous positions, we.lost some bids due to self-imposed restrictions. We weren't as creative as we could have been."
