Ada software firm launches unique bilingual financial tracking software

Will you outlive your money? Whether your primary language is English or
Spanish, Ada-based Ameriprep Solutions says its new software, Financial GPS, can help customers answer that question by giving them some simple tools to track their financial lives.

The software features a basic budgeting module that lets customers track income and payouts, plus a debt manager that prioritizes debt and provides a structure for paying it off quickly. In addition, a module called The Big Picture helps track future liabilities like weddings, college, or retirement, factors in inflation and investment accounts, and tells if, and when, an indvidual will run out of money after retirement.

“This offers the most specific and most accurate retirement illustration that I’ve ever seen,” says Steve Eilers, one of ten partners in the company. Five of the partners are in the Grand Rapids area; the others are in New Hampshire, Illinois and California.

“The average person can use this,” Eilers continues. “It includes video tutorials for each module that walk people through it step-by-step.”

Eilers says one aspect that differentiates the product from others on the market is a Gap Analysis.

“You plug in how much money you have now and it ties in inflation and tells you how much money you’ll need when you retire to maintain your lifestyle,” Eilers says. “It’ll give you the monthly gap and the annual gap. I haven’t seen this anywhere else.”

The product launched in April and so far, Ameriprep has some 30 online affiliates marketing it.

To date the company has created one sales job and plans to add another three to five jobs in the next year.
