Meijer's to hire up to 90 additional employees at Grand Rapids store

As reported by WZZM-TV, Meijer Inc., the Grand Rapids-based superstore retailer, will be holding open interviews this week to hire additional employees to operate its expanded store at the southwest corner of 28th Street and Kalamazoo Avenue when the project is completed this summer.

After crews finish work on a Grand Rapids Meijer, the store says it will need to fill up to 90 new jobs. The store on 28th Street and Kalamazoo is expanding. It was Meijer's first super-center and had not had a renovation since the 1970s.The store will hold an unveiling later this summer. Meijer says because of the larger store, it needs to bring in the extra employees. The company will hold open interviews starting Wednesday afternoon at the store on Kalamazoo and 28th Street.
