State program to support innovation garners free legal services from Grand Rapids firm

A program developed by Governor Snyder's administration to support innovation received a big boost when Grand Rapids-based legal firm Varnum committed $1 million in free legal services.


According to an excerpt from the Grand Rapids Business Journal:

The Pure Michigan Business Connect program has garnered another financial commitment in its effort to refuel the state's economy.
Varnum has committed $1 million in free legal services associated with starting a business, capital formation and other legal needs. Varnum's contribution adds to $3 billion committed by Huntington Bank, CMS Energy, DTE Energy, Stage 2 Innovations, Automation Alley and the Export Import Bank of the U.S.
