Land Bank Authority on target to hire its first executive director

Thanks to a positive vote by the Kent County Board of Commissioners. a land bank authority will be in place to help rejuvenate abandoned real estate.

According to excerpts from MLive:

Kent County Land Bank Authority is advertising for an executive director and about to buy its first few vacant homes in an effort to revitalize abandoned real estate.

This week, the county‚Board of Commissioners is expected to purchase up to 12 vacant homes.
