Rockford's Wolverine World Wide and the West Michigan Mountain Bike Alliance are partnering to create a new multi-use trail.

The two will officially open an six-mile multi-use trail for mountain biking, hiking and walking this morning. The free, public-access trail in Rockford will bear the moniker of the best-selling outdoor brand: Merrell Biking Trail.
