Becker's Healthcare Review has named Wyoming's Metro Health Hospital one of the greenest hospitals in the nation, recognizing its LEED certification and sustainability initiatives.
According to the article:
Metro Health was one of only seven hospitals in Michigan to receive the recognition for its sustainability initiatives. Becker’s called Metro and other acute-care hospitals on this year’s list “forward-thinking institutions that lead sustainability efforts by example” and “demonstrate how environmental sustainability is a shared responsibility.”
