Ada’s civic leaders have been charged with implementing some hefty plans laid out by last year’s charrette planning. A new DDA could help provide sources of funding that are key to moving the plan forward.

According to excerpts from the story:

A long time in the planning process, the newly formed Downtown Development Authority in Ada Township has its board in place and is up and running. Township Supervisor George Haga, who occupies one seat on the nine-member board, said the appointees are “a good mix of property owners, township residents, and business owners.” “We have a lot of work ahead of us in the next 30 to 60 days,” said Robert Kulgren, DDA board chairman.
