Graduates of Ferris State University's digital animation and game design program landing jobs

The Grand Rapids Business Journal reports that students earning a degree in digital animation and game design from Ferris State University in Big Rapids are landing jobs, despite the slow economy.

According to excerpts from the story:

David Baker, program director at Ferris State University of digital animation and game design, says, "There are actually jobs in this business." There are about 150 people are enrolled in the program, many of them hoping to land a career in the $20 billion digital gaming industry, according to Baker. So far, about 50 people have earned the degree since the first classes were offered in 2004.
