There’s approximately 150 condos for sale in downtown Grand Rapids, and 750 across Kent County. But developers continue to build new units, revitalizing sleepy neighborhoods and pumping new energy in the city center.
Icon on Bond. Boardwalk Condos. Bridgewater Place. Condo developments are growing throughout the city and sales rates show their popularity among housing buyers. Union Square Condos, for instance, averages one sale a day. When completed, the project will offer 180 residential units. 162 are already sold.
"It's something new downtown in GR, and they're developing so much," said Abby Cook, a new condo buyer.
