Description:
A full-time position is available in the Procurement Department at the Van Andel Institute. This position is responsible for the procurement of laboratory supplies and research equipment. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and related work experience.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, biology, chemistry, or a related field required; Must possess an exceptional ability to communicate both orally and in writing.

Description:
This position will assist the Program Director in executing and implementing a translational research strategy with an emphasis on personalized medicine and molecularly guided therapeutics. The ideal candidate for this position will be an individual who is looking to transition into a fast paced, highly matrixed and clinically-focused lab research program in experimental oncology. Promising productivity could lead to the development of an Investigator position with a path to independence.

Requirements:
PhD. with expertise in molecular oncology, biomarker research, pharmacogenomics or related disciplines. • Must have completed four years of a post-doctoral fellowship at an academic or commercial institution in an appropriate area of scientific research. • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to independently apply the understanding of scientific theory to the structure and execution of research experiments.
