Description:We are seeking an individual to fill a 1st shift CNC Program Engineer position. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years experience programming Mazak machines or working with GibbsCAM. Characteristics we are looking for in a candidate are: Knowledge of practical engineering and design principles involved in drawings, blueprints, and models. A candidate should be able to apply engineering principles and procedures to design production processes. Responsibilities for this position are: Program and maintain CNC production machines, converting CAD drawings, blueprints, and CAD solid models into CNC programs, customize CNC programs to maximize production efficiency by using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance in the development of programs, develop fixture design, building, and ISO 9000 quality standard, observe operation of the CNC machine on trial run, and revise program to eliminate errors and wasted motion.
