Description: Local book manufacturer is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Customer Service Workflow Specialist. This person would quickly learn our current customer service and order entry process, take on multiple customer accounts, and then work to streamline and automate our procedures. Customer Service tasks would include interfacing with customers via email and phone, entering orders into our MIS system, preparing quotes, contracting with outside vendors, and communicating customer needs to production staff.
Requirements:A strong motivation to improve processes, ability to convince co-workers and customers to change, and excellent communication skills will be critical in this role. Also required will be a comfort with new technology, ability to grasp new concepts quickly, and sales/customer service aptitude. The right candidate will be self-motivated, independent, willing to take initiative, and able to find a balance between customer needs and company needs. Previous customer service experience is expected. Prepress/printing knowledge and prior management experience would be preferred.
