Description:The Intern will learn the skills necessary to further communications as an Executive Assistant. Non-volumne telephone answering, filing of documents, scanning, learning various Microsoft programs (outlook, excel, word, etc). They will learn typing skills, ability to maintain inventories, support for customers who use ticketing systems, email communications. Advanced training will include setting up domains on the server, server communications and other related internet technologies. Many of the skillsets learned will revolve around computers, communications, logical sequences, problem solving, meetings and goals/task delegations, communication project lists with team members throughout organization, passing on communications from clients, learning telephone system and telephone answering skills, working in a professional corporate environment, organization skills, etc. A typical day will be as follows: Open the location, make yourself coffee, log messages left on voice system. Check emails, send messages to different staff, etc. Open up live chat for our support system (we have crews of people working from homes doing data entry so you will have live chat with them open if they have questions). Answer an occasional text chat for the data entry crew, escalate questions to management, etc. Maintain your own data entry logs of who is working on what, who is finished, etc. Answer occasional telephone calls and relay messages, etc. Filing of documents, scanning documents, document retrieval. Learning use of Outlook mail, Word, Excel. Learning to backup computers and information. Learning to write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures manuals. Learning to attend and host meetings for employees and contractors.
