A Lab Manager position is available supporting the Pediatric Oncology Research Program under the direction of Dr. Giselle Sholler. This position will coordinate the technical scientific research staff and manage the operations of the laboratory in compliance with all applicable regulations. Requirements:
• Master's degree or equivalent in science related field plus 4-7 years of progressively complex science related experience. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook. • Technical excellence in performing complex laboratory experiments; demonstrated knowledge of the needed research methodology; experience in developing and implementing procedures and programs and supervision / overseeing technical / student laboratory staff. • Demonstrated interest in bones and ability to work well as part of an interdisciplinary team of laboratory staff, research administration staff, vendors and other personnel.
