Description: The Lean Manufacturing Intern assists the Lean Manufacturing Department with Lean implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The position provides hands-on engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Implements, modifies, and documents assembly processes • Assists with improving the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes • Provides support to Lean Manufacturing staff and management as needed • Analyzes cell measures and performs time studies to help improve manufacturing processes • Supports purchasing, quality, test, and production as needed • Assists production as needed to ensure deliveries are met
Requirements: • Education/Experience: 2nd or 3rd year active student in an accredited Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering-related program at a two-year or four-year college or university. • Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Autocad LT
