Patent and Trademark Paralegal – Intellectual Property Legal Assistant/Secretary – Patent and Trademark Agent Paparella & Associates, a law firm practicing exclusively in intellectual property law (i.e., Patent and Trademark matters) is seeking an EXPERIENCED patent and trademark professional (e.g., paralegal, legal assistant, legal secretary, agent, ...) for its Grand Rapids office. We are currently seeking only those with a demonstrated and proven track record in assisting attorneys in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent and trademark matters before the USPTO. Your primary responsibility will be assisting our attorneys in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent and trademark matters before the USPTO. However, you will also be responsible for other legal-administrative functions including typing, filing, call answering, client communications, docketing, etc.

Requirements:

1) excellent organizational skills are required; 2) excellent typing, spelling and grammatical skills are required; 3) excellent verbal communication skills are required; 4) you must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment; 5) you must be a self starter and be able to think critically; and 6) you MUST have previous patent and trademark experience.
