Description:Amway offers internship opportunities in areas of manufacturing and operations. Previous interns have worked on the following projects: Assisting a machine shop Tooling Engineer to identify all production equipment that require center line templates for change parts, measuring equipment using Faro Arm CMM, and creating templates utilizing Master Cam and Auto Cad. Additional projects included Ashra Software Systems in our Central Maintenance department working to identify and document our critical equipment to determine efficiencies, reduce energy consumption and improve long range sustainability HVAC systems for production plants and offices. The Manufacturing team is also looking for candidates that believe working in a manufacturing leadership position, with exposure to direct supervisory responsibilities as potential career path. The primary focus of the internship would be to expose candidates to the manufacturing environment and have definable results in Continuous Improvement project work.
Requirements:Qualified candidates should be pursuing a Technical Certificate, Bachelors or Masters degree in Tool Engineering, HVAC, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
