Description: This is a 1st shift Intern position. The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will assist the Special Operations engineering team with production projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The position provides hands-on engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. This is an open ended internship with flexible hours working around the individual's schedule.
Responsibilities: Implements, modifies, and documents assembly processes. Assists with improving the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes. Provides support to engineering staff and management as needed. Assists in the design and implementation of tooling and fixtures within manufacturing. Analyzes cell measures and performs time studies to help improve manufacturing processes. Supports purchasing, quality, test, and production as needed. Assists production as needed to ensure deliveries are met.
Requirements: Preferred Education/Experience: Currently enrolled or possess a degree in a college or university engineering program. Preferred Computer Skills: Microsoft Office.
