Description:     
The City of East Grand Rapids is accepting applications for a Parks and Recreation Aquatics Supervisor. Duties include, but are not limited to: developing, scheduling, and administering aquatics and recreation programs; hiring, training and supervising lifeguards, WSI's, and instructors; creating promotional materials, and special event and recreation program coordination. Strong computer and desktop publishing skills are necessary. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field with a minimum one year of related experience. Must have valid drivers' license and required certificates, i.e., Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Preferred certificates include Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, First Aid/CPR Instructor and Certified Pool Operator. Starting salary is $36,792 with an excellent benefit package.

Requirements:     
Must have valid drivers' license and required certificates, i.e., Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Preferred certificates include Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, First Aid/CPR Instructor and Certified Pool Operator.
