Description: Performs support tasks for department, as directed, and maintains clear and appropriate documentation. Acts as a team member and assists the team in improving processes.
This internship will focus on statistical analysis, report writing and metrics.
Requirements:Successful Candidate Will Be:
* Classified as a Junior in College.
* Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelors or Post Graduate degree in one of the following areas of study:
Finance
Business Management
Accounting
Math
Finance
Statistics
Quality Improvement
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Time management and organizational skills.
* Self directed.
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions.
* Ability and willingness to learn.

In order to protect our patients from being exposed to contagious infections by you, you will indicate that you:
1) Have been vaccinated for:
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/ and/or Pertussis, Measles, Mumps and Rubella (dates of 2 MMR vaccinations)
• Hepatitis B series
2) Have had chicken pox (YES/NO), a titer report proving immunity to chicken pox (YES/NO) or the chicken pox vaccination (yes/NO); and
3) Do not have the following symptoms on any date in which you intern: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, draining skin sores, pink eye, dizziness, nasal drainage, cough, or elevated body temperature.
4) Have had at least one negative TB skin test using the ppd test within the past 12 months or have been evaluated by the health department for a positive TB skin test and remain free from symptoms (proof required). A second TB skin test is required for anyone who was negative after the first test and has not had a total of two within the past 12 months. A positive TB tester needs to complete a TB symptom survey annually.
