Abigayle Sloan
On a daily basis at FOX 17, I am responsible for generating story ideas, doing research, setting up interviews, conducting interviews, writing stories, presenting them on air live, and in the studio. I am also responsible for producing content for the web, and promoting my social media pages, like facebook and twitter. Sometimes I even do my own camera work and editing. Every day is different in this industry. One day I'm covering a natural disaster, the next I'm learning how to fly an airplane. Most of the time, I am on a tight deadline, and the position always requires good time management. Sound news judgment and good morals are a must in this business. I'm always out on the road meeting new people, and taking risks in trying new things. I'm hardly at my desk, and there is rarely a dull moment at FOX 17!
