The Grand Rapids Service Office offers classroom programs, JA Job Shadows and JA Reverse Job Shadows to the Greater Grand Rapids Area. Our programs help prepare young people for the real world by teaching them about, financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreunership.
My position manages the Grand Rapids Education Team in order to provide premium programs and volunteers to local West Michigan schools subscribing to JA Progams. I have taught over 35 JA programs at area elementary, middle and high schools and continue to teach our programs in order to better understand our volunteers as well as the educators subscribing to JA programs.

I currently work on a team of 10 recruiters to help attract key talent into the organization. In my position, I manage the Talent Relationship Management System and assist with the hiring for our corporate service center. Last year, NHA hired nearly 600 teachers across the country to serve Kindergarten through 8th grade students in six different states: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, New York, and Colorado.
