Marissa LaRiviere

My main responsibility at BenePAY involves developing and nurturing relationships with potential clients, demonstrating the value of outsourcing payroll services, and designing a solution that fits their company's individual needs.  These solutions can range from simple payroll processing and tax administration to a robust and integrative package that includes workers' comp insurance, state unemployment insurance management, time and attendance, FSA administration, background screening, and much more.  In addition, I design some of our marketing pieces, plan and organize events, and I am currently working on expanding our presence in social media.

One of the things I take pride in is that BenePAY places a strong emphasis on building a stronger Michigan and maintaining strong, local partnerships.  I enjoy working in a small-business environment that allows me to grow with the company and helps me to diversify my skills.  After two years of sending out résumés and interviewing for various positions, I was approached by our CEO at my previous place of employment, was hired as an administrative assistant and after learning the industry, grew into the sales position I hold now.  I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to work amongst a group of premier, hand-selected industry professionals.

I help Business Owners and Ad Agencies showcase themselves on the Big-Screen at the local theaters in the Grand Rapids and Muskegon areas. Their ad runs during our Preflix Entertainment Package before the Movies. This gives them a platform to showcase their Product and Services to a captivated local audience. As part of Huntington Insurance, I am responsible for servicing the Western Michigan Territory. I specialize in personal lines, small commercial, and professional liability. Sara Gonzalez

As part of the College Talent Acquisition Team at Amway, I have three main client groups including: the students at target schools; career service professionals; and managers at Amway.  I spend half of the year at target college campuses educating the students and career service professionals about Amway’s Internship Program through various avenues including career fairs and corporate presentations.  Target majors include: R&D, Business, Supply Chain, and IT disciplines.  

The second half of the year is dedicated to the interns once their Summer Internship starts, creating programming and various opportunities to enrich their experience.  Some of the events our Interns can participate in include a Professional Development Series with Executives, a Reverse Career Fair, the West Michigan Intern Olympics and R&D lunch and learns.
