I am responsible for the Accounts Payable portion of the Accounting Department at Hoekstra Transportation. I currently enter and pay invoices; cut weekly checks to various vendors; prepare financial and other work related reports; prepare year-end journal entries; and reconcile accounts annually. My job title requires time management, organizational skills, accountability, and honesty.

 

I head up the Auto Division here at TransCorr. Our company is mainly based on semi truck freight as well as flat bed and LTL (less than truckload). We have expanded to the auto industry after seeing a need for our transportation expertise. My job encompasses maintaining customer accounts and relations, dispatching drivers, data entry, route planning, as well as implementing rates for various lanes. No two days either at the office our on sales trips are every alike.
