Hart-Montague Trail State Park

Bike, hike, snowmobile, or cross-country ski this converted rail corridor. Paved and linear, this 22-mile trail runs through a mix of rural, forested lands, asparagus fields and the towns along the route. Scenic overlooks and picnic areas are located along the trail. Accessible from Hart, Montague, Mears, Shelby and New Era. Recently completed a 2.5 mile extension over the White River to Whitehall.
