MyGRCityPoints Reward Redeemed for Personalized Beer

A Grand Rapids couple cashes in on an interesting recycling incentive offered through MyGRCityPoints: a personalized beer brewed by the masters at East Hills’ Brewery Vivant.

According to excerpts from MLive:

For a Christmas gift, Amy Ruis redeemed 5,000 points for one of the program’s bigger rewards: production of a personalized Brewery Vivant beer.

The Steve-hattan is based on a Manhattan recipe. The beer is aging in a bourbon barrel with Michigan cherries and a vermouth-like concoction of spices to produce flavors that “should meld together very nicely,” Spaulding said.
