The Spring Lake Village Planning Commission last week approved plans to turn a former industrial plating site into a 24-unit senior citizen residential development.
Voting 5-3, the commission approved plans calling for a three-story main structure with two-story wings on the former Superior Plating Co. property on Liberty Street between Cutler and Park streets. The approved plans call for 24 apartments.
