Jennifer Palaske

KSS Enterprises is a leading single-source distributor of custodial equipment and supplies.   As marketing director my responsibilities include developing and implementing market strategies to elevate awareness of the programs, partnerships and products we offer.  My role includes developing our online presence, creation of social media campaigns, traditional materials, event marketing and more.

Shrineil Patel

Though my job title says Customer Database Marketing (CDM), I get much more exposure to this business than just that. I first started working with the Consumer Marketing Team which handles the setup of our Buy 1 Get 1 type offers and some price drops. Additionally, I owned the Meijer Community Rewards program and was responsible for the department financials.

After 6 months, I kept the department financials responsibility but moved over to CDM. Our team uses customer and store data to influence our promotional decisions (coupons, pricing, product advertising, etc). As a CDM Specialist, I am responsible for the design and implementation of relevant couponing for our Grand Openings, Competitive, Store Specific and Cincinnati market campaigns. I also am responsible for system knowledge and testing of the point-of-sale (POS) systems as well as digital couponing. With that said, it is extremely important to stay innovative in my design and targeting.

Jim Murray

My job consists of a lot of responsibilities. I'm the lead buyer for the store, I spend about 3 to 4 weeks a year in New York buying our stores goods and I over see two other buyers. I'm also in charge of the operations of our business as a whole. Everything from accounting and payroll to human resources.  Most of all I enjoy servicing our clients. I love to help someone become a better version of themselves through clothing.

Katherine Casey

I work as part of the Regional Human Resource team for Meijer's Northern Region supporting 47 stores across Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint, Saginaw, Bay City and Northern Michigan.  I'm responsible for the implementation of the recruiting strategy to achieve retail leadership and pharmacy talent acquisition expectations. Working in partnership with assigned leadership teams, I assist in the identification of internal talent, source external candidates and drive the interview and on-boarding process for new leadership and pharmacy hires.  I support the entire talent acquisition process for new store locations.  I assist with the development and implementation of recruitment policies, procedures, forms, and strategies; facilitate interview training and assist with the development and maintenance of relationships with local colleges and universities.  In addition, I generate creative ways to find top talent for challenging positions or hard to hire markets; consistently use recruitment metrics to take a strategic approach to meeting current and future hiring needs and am responsible for driving the consistent use of the company ATS system.  The position requires innovation, creativity, strategic thinking, the ability to adapt quickly to change, and to influence and form collaboration across diverse teams.
