As a Sales Manager for Teddy's Transport I am Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in my assigned markets. I maintain current relationships to provide the best customer service available, as well as seek out new contacts in an effort to grow my customer base. I do this by utilizing any and all marketing and networking opportunities available to me, as well as spending time in the field performing follow up calls, as well as cold calls. This also requires me to create and conduct proposal presentations to new potential customers. In addition to that I am also responsible for maintaining accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity derived from current business. I chose to move back to West Michigan for a couple reasons. One of which being that I am originally from this area and have a lot of friends and family here. The other is to be able to enjoy all of the natural splendor that West Michigan has to offer. By living in Hamilton I am able to enjoy everything from the night life in Grand Rapids, to spending time on the lakeshore; anywhere to South Haven to Grand Haven. There are so many festivities and events available to the public. It is very easy to have a great time, and to find something that everyone can enjoy doing. I have lived in Georgia, Indiana, and Arkansas, and have yet to find a place more enjoyable then West Michigan.
