Thanksgiving Eve: Biggest Bar Night of the year is back!

You have a lot of options, and while many will say that the best bet is downtown (and, honestly, it is if you are seeking massive crowds migrating up and down Ionia SW and throughout the connecting streets), but for others it could be a completely different experience you are looking for this night.

For those seeking a quieter space to catch up with your mates who are back in the city, the neighborhood pubs are a best bet.

But, if you need a place to take your folks – who miss you too – you can have your tag-along, multi-generational experience at  Billy’s Lounge in Eastown, where drinks are cheap, the pours are long, and the music of the ‘80s cover band Starfarm, who will be swinging in town for this big party night, will be more than dance-worthy.

However you choose to celebrate the biggest night of the year, please be responsible in two ways. One, if you drink too much, then you will face Grandma really hung over. (And you know how she hold grudges.)

And two, if you do imbibe then call for a ride. Might I suggest an Uber or a cab? (Wait, no, I insist you call an Uber or cab over driving yourself home. You can thank me on Thursday within your long list of thanks.)

If you have not used Uber, then please use this link to claim a first ride on them
