Adams Avenue in Grand Haven will soon have 15 contemporary residences added to the neighborhood as construction begins on Grand Landing's Adams Avenue Row Houses.
Each row house will offer three bedrooms and 1,700 square feet on two levels. The two bedrooms on the upper levels will each have balconies; the main floor master bedroom opens to a porch.
"Each unit has an interior courtyard that's open to the sky," says Craig Adams, a partner with Don Knape in the Grand Landing development. "The owners can access the rooftop from the courtyard via a spiral staircase, and from the second floor of the unit."
That rooftop is the 'green' roof of the two-car attached garage, which will be able to accommodate a hot tub, a play area, or a roof deck.
"All we've done is taken the back yard and moved it up a level," Adams says. "They can build part of it as a green roof and make the rest walkable, or make it a party deck that has views of the Grand River."
Prices start in the mid $200s.
