Custer has announced the hiring of Grand Rapids native Brad Laackman to head its growing interior architectural products division, Custer Architectural Products.
Todd Custer, VP of Sales-Architecture Products, says Laakman has the perfect background to assume this new position. "He brings experience in commercial casegoods, cabinetry, and construction. He also brings the construction mentality on how we will go to market."
Laakman recently spent three years as the General Manager of Case Systems Solutions in the Midland area. Prior to that, he spent four years at CSM Group, a construction management firm in Kalamazoo, as Associate Partner and Director for new construction.
Custer Architectural Products specializes in creating professional spaces that are mobile and flexible. Products include moveable wall systems, custom cabinetry, easy access raised flooring, and acoustical solutions.
