Application developers and project managers in demand at local tech firm

Open System Technologies (OST) continues their hiring binge. After added over 55 employees in the past year, the technology firm is still hungry for talent.

According to OST's s Head of Talent Acquisition, Tamara Iakiri, the organization is looking to add six full-time application developers and two full-time project managers. At the same time, OST also has opportunities for independent contractors with experience in application development.

Iakiri says that the firm looks to hire locally, but depending on the specific needs, often needs to broaden their net and recruit throughout the state. "The project managers are senior level positions. For the application development team, we are looking for 3-5 years of experience."

Besides the full-time positions, there are many contractor positions available, too, which Iakiri says is a great channel for individuals looking for an alternative to a corporate position or for those interested in an introduction to the technology network in West Michigan.
