Simple invention manufactured in China will now be made in Michigan

A trio of West Michigan businesses have big plans for a small, plastic product that will now be made locally.

According to the article in MLive:

While the product is simple, the potential of String Guards is not. Just ask the group of West Michigan partners who have invested themselves in the product's growth.

The small, plastic clothing accessory can be attached to the strings on hooded sweaters, key chains and golf bags. It's small enough to fit in between sneakers strings, but big enough to be used as a promotional tool. Plus it keeps jogging pant strings from "disappearing or slipping away to hard to reach places."
