Grand Haven Harbor Transit lands $607K grant for service expansion

The Grand Haven Tribune reports that a planned service expansion of the Grand Haven Harbor Transit has received over $607,000 from the federal government in support of the project.

U.S. Sens. Debbie Stabenow and Carl Levin announced Monday federal support for Grand Haven’s Harbor Transit project.

Harbor Transit received $607,200 from the federal government for service expansion and improved operating efficiencies, and was selected on a competitive basis through the 2011 Bus Livability Program.
