The Muskegon Chronicle reports that two more brightly painted bicycles have been left in Muskegon's downtown by a Mystery Artist -- perhaps the same person who left similar bikes downtown last fall.
According to excerpts from the story:
With warm weather comes the return of flowers, retirees and — in downtown Muskegon — the mystery bikes that left local residents scratching their heads last year.
Two painted bikes have recently appeared downtown, apparently left by the same anonymous artist who chained similar two-wheelers to street signs and fences last fall. A red bike with one wheel in safety green and one in lavender -- and a frame marked with the stenciled image of an old-fashioned drill, like the one found on the previous bikes -- is sitting at the corner of Fifth Street and Clay Avenue. A blue and gold bike is locked to a fence at Hartshorn Marina on West Western.
