Saint Mary's Health Care has added two new clinicians to their staff. Mandy Spence, PA-C, has joined the Advantage Health/Saint Mary's intensivist team. Uchebike Nwankwo, MD has joined Advantage Health, where he will practice internal medicine.
Selling Grand Rapids and recruiting top talent to the region is increasingly becoming easier in West Michigan thanks to the growing reputation of several centers of excellence in the healthcare industry, says Camille Vandyk, physician recruiter.
"It has been easier to sell Grand Rapids because of all the exciting things in healthcare -- Van Andel Institute, Spectrum and the Michigan State Medical School," says Vandyk.
Spence earned her Master's from Wichita State University. Nwankwo earned his doctorate at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and he completed his residency at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
