King Milling Flour Co., a longtime mainstay in downtown Lowell, continues to grow.
According to excerpts from the article in MLive:
The city this week granted the company a 12-year tax abatement for a planned $11.37 million expansion that will double the square footage -- albeit largely upward -- and allow the company to expand its customer base.
The company plans to spend $2.7 million on a 90-foot tall building expansion and a new animal feed byproduct storage facility, plus $8.67 million on new loadout machinery and equipment that includes six multi-story concrete flour storage bins.
