After school arts program in Holland grows

What was once an informal art program now has significant increase in structure added to better serve the community.

According to excerpts from the Holland Sentinel:

For nearly three years, high school art students have gathered on Thursday afternoons at the Holland Area Arts Council to study the arts in an informal setting.

But this year, the group that provides the training, Ambrose, is organizing a formal program to include regular visits from artists and collaborative art projects.

Ambrose Director Adam Weiler co-founded the group with his wife, Jenna, in 2008. There always has been a need for high school students who like to create art to meet with creative professionals and learn about what it takes to be successful, he said.
