Michigan Indian tribes can receive business training from GVSU thanks to $200K grant

The Grand Rapids Press reports that a new $200,000 grant will be used to developed a new program at Grand Valley State University to assist Michigan Indian tribes with business development training and consulting.

Michigan Indian tribes will soon be able to access business development training and consulting through a new grant-funded program at Grand Valley State University. The Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center at Grand Valley was awarded a two-year, $200,000 grant to increase business assistance to the 12 federally recognized tribes and their members in Michigan, the university announced.
