Clownvis Presley: Clowns have more fun

Typically one’s career does not take off as a result of being booted off the stage during an audition. But that is exactly what happened when Clownvis Presley attempted to woo the judges at the TV audition for America's Got Talent’s Season Five.

From that moment on, Clownvis Presley, who is referred by the L.A. Weekly as "Better than the real Elvis,” became a stable on the alt comedy scene of Los Angeles.

Known for his rowdy trifecta of talent that covers genres of comedy, song, and magic, Clownvis Presley arrives in Grand Rapids on Thursday, January 11 at Tip Top Deluxe Bar & Grill—the best alt venue on the Westside.

Not only has this hilarious act performed on stage, opening for musical acts like Little Richard, Neil Hamburger, Dresden Dolls, and Jewel, Clownvis Presley has also worked with comics Sarah Silverman, Margaret Cho, Drew Carry, David Spade, and Bob Odenkirk.
