The second annual LaughFest, hosted by Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids, drew 55,376 attendees over the course of their 10-day festival of laughter.
According to excerpts from MLIVE:
Gilda's LaughFest came to a close Sunday after 10 days. It began March 8 when 607 individuals set a new world record for most people wearing chicken beaks at a single venue.
The festival's attendance figure was announced Tuesday. It eclipsed last year's total of 55,376.
