Grand Rapids expects rebound from slight population drop

A new census report says Grand Rapids' population declined about .5 % from 2004 to 2005, a reduction of about 1,100 people. Mayor George Heartwell is not concerned however. He says the next official census, in 2010, has already been the subject of a pair of planning meetings.
