Architects offer their expertise with North Muskegon design charrette

A 2-day design charrette sponsored by the American Institute of Architects Grand Valley Chapter and the West Michigan Strategic Alliance will develop a proposed redesign of the visual appeal of Whitehall Road and Michigan's Adventure.

Architects and engineers this week will explore how the appearance of Whitehall Road and the Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park area could be made more appealing to residents and visitors as the area north of Muskegon grows.

The Grand Valley chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) volunteered the same service two years ago for the Seaway Drive corridor that serves as the southern entrance to the Muskegon metropolitan area.
