In yet another clear example of the leadership role West Michigan's furniture industry is taking in the global movement toward sustainable design and manufacturing, Haworth will complete one of the region's greenest corporate headquarters in 2008.
According to excerpts from the story:
When completed at the end of 2008, Haworth Inc. will have one of the greenest headquarters in West Michigan.
The company is reworking and expanding its headquarters off M-40 into a 300,000-square-foot showplace where customers will be able to see Haworth products in use by employees.
Just as sustainability is the focus of the Holland company's product lines of office furniture and systems, that was the approach in updating the headquarters.
