Brookstone Capital, a Midland-based firm, built the angular, four-story $3.3 million building as part of an effort to change ideas of what low-income housing can be.
"We wanted to show what workforce housing can be to eliminate the stereotype of past structures," said Karl Chew, principal partner with Brookstone.
